Im looking for some interesting ways to paint my nails. Can you list some ways to do them. Interesting Ways To Paint Your Nails?
well my friend did hers really interesting
she took a light green and a light orange and mixed them both with white to get a lighter color
and she painted every nail orange and green (like one is orange, one is green, if you get what im saying)
and then she took the orange on the green nail and made polkadots and took green on the orange nails and made stripes

So what u do is take ur school colors or your 2 fav colors and but a base coat on that u want to show the most of then take paper and hold 2 ur nail and paint the tip the next color. They really turn out cool. Hope that helps.

i do this thing on my nails for 4th of july.flags!!!
so u have to have red, rainbow white or just white, sparkles, and blue.
the pinky and ring finger are painted blue and then sparkles over it.
then the middle, index, + thumb r white w/ red stripes over it. i
ts the same thing for both hands!

1: Instead of the classic french manicure, use a darker color instead of white. for instance black or deep purple. it gives a more bold, daring look.
#2:experiment with stencils. or even cut shapes out of tape. start with any color for a base coat, allow it to dry, then press on the stencil/tape(press it on HARD, so the paint doesnt bleed) and the paint over it in a different color.
EX: base coat white, top coat pink, heart stencil (will appear as a white heart on a pink backdrop)
#3: tape can also be used for this, or any nail tool/ toothpick. you can paint a base coat, and then put stripes (in a diff color) on top. try horizontal, vertical, or even diagnal.
#4: paint your nails all different colors. do a pattern, or just go crazy!
EX: one nail pink, one nail orange, etc, etc.
#5:use a toothpick/nail tool or stencil to create nail art that relates to the holiday or season.
EX: since it is summer, paint a flip flop on one of your nails. or sun, etc.
#6: as alreaddy mentioned above, i've tried the antique/vintage look using a spong, and it looks amazing =]

dont forget nail polish remover, so you can try multiple ideas. ;D
Do you mean as in ideas for styles? I used to use a toothpick to make small, often detailed pictures over a plain coloured base, but then I got the tubes that squeeze out little dots (this works well for flowers mainly, and for plump objects like strawberries, but I still use a toothpick for things like the stem). Sometimes, I also paint a base and let it dry, then with more polish (it doesn't matter what colour) I paint on a shape, like a heart, then wipe it off. That allows the base to be removed underneath leaving a sort of cut out shape on your nail.
You can experiment with different colour schemes too, I like to paint all my nails black or white, then pick perhaps my small and middle finger on my left hand and my ring finger on the right to paint hot pink.
I did this, and it looked awesome!
Get a tiny sponge paint took thing. 'regular sponge' and dip the end in nail polish, and dab your nails with it.
It gives it a nice vintage look. I absolutely adore it, and everyone was amazed by how I did it. They thought it was professional!

also, you can mix colors so that it gives you a better shade

i'm a nail tech, so for something simple but elegant, paint your entire nail with your favorite color, and paint the tips with glitters.... simple fast and nice, and you can do it yourself
