I have acrylic nails, but recently when i paint them, they get almost ';sticky'; - why????

i've painted them dozens of times in the past, but now, after i paint them (after going to the salon its fine) they get sort of sticky and i can easily scratch off the paint. it's almost like they don't dry and i've tried different brands of polish. does anyone have any idea why this happens and how to prevent it?I have acrylic nails, but recently when i paint them, they get almost ';sticky'; - why????
If you're using a polish remover with acetone, that will cause the acrylic to soften, which results in the stickiness. Use non-acetone polish remover before painting.I have acrylic nails, but recently when i paint them, they get almost ';sticky'; - why????
Old nail polish or cheap nail polish has that affect on nails, or the same could be true for the acrylic. try using opi nail polish, if you still have the same problems, i would recommend another salon to get your nails done at.
Its a reaction between the acrylic and the nail polish
